Solaris Space Station once again was happy to Sponsor a region and had a booth at the latest Sci-Fi convention celebrating 16 years of Sci-fi community coming together in unity to fundraise for TEAMFOX  for parkinson's research.

The event ran from May 24th~June 4th 2024  covering 8 sims filled with different groups, vendors and the latter for entertainment.

The Solaris booth is an open plan designed based on the region theme of Space Junkyard.  The booth had information about our group, links to our social media, events, Roleplay on federation starship U.S.S. Gallant and teleportation back to various areas of the station. Dance Events, Games and Movie times

The nature of our build is always being mostly open planned was so it was easier to meet and greet those who wondered past and it worked fantastically, throughout the days it was open you would often see a small crowd standing around chatting to crew, it became a nice social area, which is exactly how we view Solaris  Station to be. A legacy from the past to the future vision of Solaris Station

We had a great time at the con, met lots of people, joined many up to the group and a host of new contacts who want to spend time at the station or Role Play with us.

It was a busy week for most of the Solaris Stations senior staff as not only were they manning the booth, they were part of the organization team of the convention which help set things up, build, script, organize and participate in events.
