Cardassian Struggle pt 2 Synopsis

Lieutenants log start date 75385.85 USS Gallant is at a stop near the badlands in search of whoever been taken cryptographic abstract item from different location throughout the sectors and erasing all research data about this object .
Also at the request of Commander Sarish Minna of Deep Space Nine told us that a Bajoran relic stolen by the long time faction known as "True Way." Gallant is heading toward Badlands to uncover the location of their base Just another clue taken for what cause we are unsure ?
Awaiting the return of one of our shuttles from the Maxia Sector the crew gets everything prepared to go deep into the badlands via shuttle as USS Gallant is way big big to maneuver inside the badlands.
But we are close enough to the edge of Cardassian space and a listening post To gather some Intell .
Something's up, the crew was a bit more on edge. There might have been some arterial motive both Crewmen Mindy Riverleaf and I sensed something Like a disturbance we were on the edge of the Badlands where Admiral Tuvok hailed us. A lot is on my mind, in the regards of one who stole our personnel data, 2 our log entries, and three even our medical reports I'm hoping this next mission will come up with some answers because I am really concerned of what's going on. Could it be section 31? I know deep space 9 dealt with that covert operation section but it's weird hearing from them again.
Admiral Tuvok is having us explore the Badlands in a shuttle because our ship is a little too big to travel through that treacherous anomaly of ionized gases. The captain ordered us to take what we have so we can be comfortable on the shuttlecraft mission we may not be back for days. It's going to be interesting in a shuttle craft with the crew period end log….
