The conference room is a dedicated area on Sovereign-class starships located on Deck 1 near the ship's main bridge. It is a place where senior staff and/or civilian personnel can conduct meetings and various briefings.

The conference room is located to the forward-left the bridge and is accessed through one of two doors located along the deck's corridor. There is no direct bridge access. The room offers several comforts and is equipped to provide a relaxed area for briefings or department meetings. An elongated table is located in the center of the room and can support ten chairs. The captain customarily sits at the head of the table, with the first officer sitting to her right. A large, wall-mounted LCARS monitor is provided to allow visual aspects to be involved in a briefing. For more comfort.
