Located on the opposite side of Deck 10 across from the mess hall, "The Gal" Bar & Lounge is a crew recreational facility that supplements the mess hall's food service and entertainment capabilities. Specially designed for USS Gallant with the help of its personnel, the room provides a cozy atmosphere for leisurely activities.

Similar in configuration to the mess hall, "The Gal " Bar & Lounge beside the replicator terminals with a small galley and microbrewery. A small menu of authentic fresh cuisine is cooked and served during select hours, and the bar and microbrewery afford crew members real alcoholic beverages to consume. Like the other recreational areas aboard the ship, the bar/lounge can be converted for special gatherings and diplomatic functions.
