Solaris Command uses customized uniform based on our virtual timeline for those that do Star Trek Roleplay. Upon the completion of your, crewman uniform will be issued to you to start your journey. After the trial period according to your Branch of choice Solaris (USS Gallant) uniform package will be awarded to you and rank. Journey being by earning your experience.
This policy is the guideline to when and how a uniform can and cannot be worn. It is expected of every Solaris Officer, Enlisted or member to follow this policy when on-duty, off duty and at official functions.
Failure to abide by the following policy may result in disciplinary action taken against you
- These Solaris Uniforms are only available for Solaris Command Officer
- Other Solaris uniforms are available Solaris Members
- Bling or excessive jewelry are not permitted to be worn with any Solaris Uniforms
- Some accessories are permitted (see below)
- Commanding Officer will conduct Uniform Inspections periodically and correct anything that contradicts this Uniform Policy
- Anything distorting the Uniform or changing it in anyway without prior authorization is strictly forbidden

SOLAIS UNIFORM HUD
The Uniform HUD has mutli features
Each Button does the following:
- Duty Uniform - Changes the worn uniform to the standard Duty Uniform
- Dress Uniform- Change the worn uniform (see below when to wear this)
- HUD allows to change Division Branch
- HUD Rank pips (see below where this is worn)
DUTY UNIFORMS
Every member of Solaris Command ( USS GALLANT ) is issued an official duty uniform appropriate to their rank and Branch. Duty Uniforms MUST be worn when on-duty, accordingly with the member's rank and Branch color.
Branch colors are as follows:
- Grey - Crewman
- Red: Command
- Yellow: Engineering, Operations, Security
- Green: Marines
- Teal: Medical
- Blue: Science
When to Wear
The Duty Uniform is to be worn at the following times.
- During normal duty aboard USS GALLANT Ship and Station
- When representing Solaris at events such as Sci-Fi Convention.. etc( watch group notice when changes happens )
Policies for Duty Uniform
- Full uniform must be worn.( see what in the box )
- Lady's skirt you may NOT wear your own unless pre-approved by Command Staff. (see example below)
- Pips are to be situated on the right chest level at seam of uniform. (see example below)
- Phasers may be worn by Security, Marine and Intelligence Personnel ONLY
- Tricorders may be worn with this uniform provided it is branch needed when appropriate.
- Footwear is provided you may NOT wear your own unless pre-approved by Command Staff.
- crewmen are NOT permitted to wear a Phaser.
UNIFORMS
DRESS UNIFORMS
Every member of Solaris Command is issued a HUD that can change into Dress uniform. These uniforms are to be worn during formal functions, such as Ceremonies, Weddings, Memorials or when announced in advance.
When to Wear
The Mess Dress Uniform is to be worn at the following times.
- When attending Commissioning Ceremonies
- When attending Solaris or for other groups Wedding Services
- When attending Solaris or for other groups Memorial Services
- When prior notice is given by the Solaris Command for an event

Policies for Mess Dress Uniform
- Full uniform must be worn.

Off Duty Dress Code/Visitors Dress Code
SOLARIS BASE STATION is a moderate/PG group. We treat our area family, friendly . Therefore, when visiting its assets our policy of Dress Code
Minimum Dress code is for Solaris Sim to be covered up with accordance with the theme of the area you are visiting.
It is NOT PERMITED to wear the following
- Underwear on its own.
- Any type of Bras that can be considered revealing
- Shorts on their own showing chest (Men)
- Any BDSM/RLV collars, chains, leashes etc
- Any clothing deemed Adult in nature
- Nakedness is prohibited on all SOLARIS Assets
SOLARIS COMMAND TITLERS
SOLARIS BASE STATION COMMAND makes use of Unity Star System. Setup and Titler HUD to denote a person's rank, Branch, position and duty. The titlers are a required component of the SOLARIS COMMAND Uniform. The following format is how to correctly display this information:

Titler colors are to be the same as the color of your duty uniform as listed above under Duty Uniforms.
If you're going to be specializations make sure it has been authorized by SOLARIS COMMAND, they are denoted in the Solaris member's Service ID

roles are authorized to change their titler to the specialization. For instance, a Science Officer on board USS Gallant could have the following in their titler:

Special Compensation for Uniforms & Accessories
During certain events there may be additional uniforms provided, below is a list of those uniforms plus details on accessories.
- During the holidays: It could be appropriate during some festive holidays to wear accessories with the uniform.( Christmas or New Years Hat..ect )
- SOLARIS BASE STATION Events: During times there may be events held by SOLARIS BASE STATION . During these times specific dress code and attire will be addressed via notices inworld or discord page fitting within the Moderate/PG rating need for the sim( Uniform or casual off duty cloths)
- Religious Accessories: Some religious accessories may be worn with all uniforms provided they do not interfere with the visuals of the Solaris uniform example : Klingon House sash, Bajoran Earring...ect ( For those that roleplay Starfleet Officer act like it . not a fashion show. )
- Wedding Bands/Rings are permitted to be worn while on duty/off duty with Solaris Uniform on condition that they are not blinking (flashing particles) or excessive in size. NO EXCEPTION

BDSM/RLV Items: Items that control one's avatar or decree ones master/submissive status are NOT permitted to be shown with any Uniform, they may be worn but MUST be hidden.
- While Solaris Base Station Command will be made to ensure the Solaris, Uniform fits the standard avatars we ask that members please try every attempt to have the Uniform fit. We understand that some situations cannot be resolved. Special consideration can be given to avatars that might not be able to wear the pants or shoes. But this permission for this must be made from the Command Staff prior to not being able to adhere to the policy
OTHER ITEMS FOR UNIFORM
Patches: Beside the UFP patch . The only approved patch that can be worn on SOLARIS assets, Solaris stations and USS GALLANT or other delegated teams on sim shown here.
HOW TO WEAR THE UNIFORM
Group Tags
1) Display of group tags in Solaris Command denotes activity at that time.
When On Duty you must wear the appropriate Solaris Command Group tag either on the USS Gallant /Solaris Base Station
2) When Off Duty you should try to wear the Solaris Base Station Group Tag when visiting anywhere to proudly show you're a member of the Solaris Base Station
It is NOT appropriate to display a group tag that meets the following but not limited to:
- Poaching Membership at other location Advertising other groups (let them come to us if they are curious)
- Denoting ones Submissive/Dominant Status
- Advertising other Group Ships/Stations not part of Solaris Base Station Command

On Duty: On duty is described as any activity undertaken while representing SOLARIS BASE STATION , these include but not limited to:
- Taking part in Roleplays
- Undertaking Officer on Deck Duty
- Greeter Duty at events
- Any action requiring participation with your character while undertaking a duty group as a whole.
- Undertaking Specific Tasks
Off Duty: Off Duty is described as any action undertaken while not performing a task for your Branch, Ship, Station, or Solaris Group
Assets: Assets are denoted as any area representing UFP ROLEPLAY OR SOLARIS GROUP, these are but not limited to: -
- Welcome folks to our ship and offer tour
- Welcome folks to Solaris Base Station. Offer a tour
- Solaris Nolan Sim
- Relay for Life Kiosks
- Sci-Fi Convention, RFL Events & Weekend
